The vintagers from the Nahe have set the table for you.
Allow us to pamper you a bit in our inns kept by vintagers and vineyard pubs: you choose whether you would rather enjoy in a courtyard with hanging vines, on a terrace with a panoramic view or in a historic cellar.
Regional specialities rule the menus: small delicacies with wine such as “handkaes with music“(cheese with onions, caraway, vinegar and oil…), Wingertsknorze (rye pastry with bacon and onions), Spundekäs (dip of cream cheese, curd cheese, sour cream, onions, garlic, pepper and salt) or elaborate salads with fine wine vinegars. Warm dishes such as Winzersteak (vintager’s steak) with home-made potato salad, suckling pig from the stone oven or chicken breast with Riesling gravy. Seasonal dishes such as fresh asparagus, aromatic chantarelle or flavoursome venison. Of course the vintagers will always serve the matching Nahe wine.
As a gourmet you can also be served pretentious wine menus. Afterwards we will even call a taxi for you – unless you would prefer to spend the night in one of our guest rooms.
Taking a liking to these ideas? Then have a look at our directory. The special thing about the inns kept by vintagers is that they are only open over a certain period of weeks. Put together your own personal Nahe tour. All year long there are tempting places to stop in at!
